Helpful staff with plenty history on view
Very informative. Great place to visit
A good insight into local life. Adults and children alike will enjoy this museum, it has a lot of interactive exhibits and an audio tour if you wish. The staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to point out other areas of interest to visit. It is next to the lighthouse museum so you can have a good day here. Parking is free, there is a gift shop but no cafe, although the lighthouse does have a cafe.

If you are in Fraserburgh, come to think of it, go to Fraserburgh, to visit the Heritage Centre. There is lots of really good information about the town and the famous people from the area. This year they have got a special WW1 exhibition. Across the car park is the Museum of Scottish Lighthouse, a fascinating place with a good cafe looking out to sea.
