Called the "Elizabethan Lounge", but there's nothing Elizabethan about it and I certainly wouldn't describe it as a lounge - that connotes a feeling of rest and relaxation. I've never seen a man who went in there come out alive. I have seen their bodies walking about the town and performing their jobs as they used to, but really there is no life left in them. The water content of their system turned to alcohol and their dreams lying in shattered pieces at the bottom of a pint glass, these men have become (what the locals call) "Beethers.".
